BAIC BJ80 4x4 on its way to SA

The new BAIC BJ80 4x4 SUV is set to launch in SA in around Q3 of this year.
BAIC SA has launched the B40 last year which is a bit smaller and compact compared to the BJ80
The BJ80 does look like the mighty Mercedes G Wagon, but you can have one at a fraction of the G Wagon’s price.
Pricing and engine specs still to be announced
Initially overseas the BJ80 was powered with a GM-derived 170kW 2.3T engine, the latest model is now available with a 206kW 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
So, it might be safe to say that this will be the engine that we are getting
